What is Mentor Coaching?
Mentor coaching is a key step in a coach’s professional development, especially when preparing for or renewing ICF credentials.
It’s a collaborative process combining coaching and feedback from observed or recorded sessions, aimed at refining your skills in alignment with ICF Core Competencies.
Working with an ICF-accredited Mentor Coach offers more than technical guidance. It’s a developmental partnership that provides insight, support, and practical tools to enhance your coaching presence, awareness, and confidence.
At LIFEdance, we see mentor coaching as part of your lifelong learning: a vital practice not only to meet ICF requirements, but to continuously evolve as a coach and leader. It’s your space to reflect, stretch, and deepen.
Whether you’re coaching individuals or teams, mentor coaching offers a unique growth opportunity beyond training. It fine-tunes what you know and uncovers what you didn’t know you needed.
If you’re looking to enhance your coaching, gain clarity, and meet ICF requirements,
while being supported in your ongoing development, you’re in the right place.
We’re here to support your journey.
Meeting ICF requirements through Mentor Coaching
If you're working toward ICF certification, you probably already know that mentor coaching is a vital part of the process. It’s designed to strengthen your coaching skills in line with the ICF Core Competencies and the Code of Ethics.
Mentor coaching is more than just a checkbox;
It’s an opportunity to deepen your presence, sharpen your skills, and elevate the impact of your coaching.
